Macroscan of a female dung beetle (Scarabaeidae)

This is a Macroscan of a female dung beetle (Scarabaeidae). Macroscans can be either geometry based or splat based depending on the application - This version has been reconstructed as a splat. The best way to view them is in VR which is the native medium for 3d content imo. Macroscans have also been 3d printed in a collaboration with Mimaki. Macroscans have been perfecting the art of Macro photogrammetry since 2020.
